The View Documents tab contains a link to links to any documents, images or photos which are associated with the LDF document record. This may include the LDF document to which the document record refers.

Note: Documents with a large file size may take a long time to download, depending on the speed of your internet connection. With an internet connection of 56Kbps (standard internet connection speed for non-broadband home PCs), assume approximately 3 minutes to download a file of size 1000 Kilobytes. Depending on the set up, the file size may be displayed next to the link to the document.

Viewing associated documents

To view the documents associated with the LDF document record:

1. On the View Documents tab, click the View Associated Documents button. The information displayed depends on how the local authority stores documents, but should include the file name and file type.
2. To view the document, click the View button. The document, image or photo opens in the relevant software application.
